Whenever I was in Khartoum, I went to the camel market in Omdurman.

I once tried to count how many camels I could see, but the area is huge and there were hundreds of camels being moved and traded. The people, like all Sudanese I met, were polite and friendly, I always asked if I could take photographs and offered cigarettes and polaroid’s.
