This is one of the series I did for a magazine – I did self portraits with a 5×4 camera using Polaroid 55 or Ilford HP5 film. The camera had a self timer and I was working alone so I could not see myself, which I why I did not look  into the camera.

The location was a ruined windmill near Cambridge.
