I am entranced by the grove of chestnut trees and have returned to the woodlands near us in the South of France many times. I have still not interpreted this scene and I hope to go back again and again.

I have used different techniques and feel that using a Sabattier effect works – as does lith printing – I have not yet tried calotypes but I will.

This print is simply a straight carbro print onto the glass.
